Credentials
Dr. Baruch Tetri, DDS, is a periodontist (a dentist with specialty training in the gums, the bone that holds the teeth, and dental implants). He earned his DDS at NYU College of Dentistry in 2006, completed his Certificate in Periodontics in 2009, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology. He speaks English and Russian.

About Dr. Tetri
He trained as a dental technician before dental school, and he still thinks like one: the laboratory is in the building because the person placing the implant should also understand the tooth that goes on it. In our office he does the examination, the diagnosis, the gum and implant surgery and the planning of the restoration himself; our hygienist, dental assistants and laboratory team carry each phase with him. Patients come to us from Sunny Isles Beach and the neighboring cities, and some travel from farther away for a planned sequence of visits.
The order of the work is the same for everyone: diagnosis first, the options compared honestly, including the option of no treatment, and reversible steps before anything irreversible.

Jaw function
Dr. Tetri’s interest in jaw function began with his own experience of pain, but personal experience is not a diagnosis. Your history and the examination come first. When the examination calls for it, he adds jaw-function records; the technology page explains them in plain words. Read more on the TMJ (jaw joint) and bite page →
The laboratory
Our laboratory is in the same building as the clinic. For implant and full-mouth cases, the clinical team and the laboratory team work from the same records and the same approved design, so a question about fit or material is answered across the hall. How the records are captured and used is on the technology page →
Questions patients ask

Yes. He performs the gum and implant surgery himself, and our team assists him at each phase.
Which languages does Dr. Tetri speak?
English and Russian.
Does Dr. Tetri see patients who do not need full-mouth work?
