Start by sending records
If you are reading this from another city, begin with records rather than a ticket. We ask for recent X-rays or a three-dimensional dental scan (CBCT) if you have one, photographs of your teeth and face, a list of your medications and medical conditions, and a short description of what is bothering you and what you hope for; you can send all of it through the secure link our office provides. From these, Dr. Tetri can usually say whether a visit makes sense, what it would involve, and what we would still need to see in person.
Read it slowly and ask questions. Nothing is booked until you are satisfied with the answers.

What travel cannot change
Travel does not make biology move faster. An untreated infection, too little bone, an unstable bite, healing time, or a medical condition can change the sequence after we examine you. A same-day fixed temporary bridge is possible for some patients, and we only know after the examination. We would rather tell you this before the flight than after it.
What one visit can include
For a suitable case, a single visit of several days can cover the examination and records, any extractions and bone grafting (adding bone where an implant needs support), implant placement, and a fixed temporary bridge, with our own laboratory making the temporary teeth while you recover nearby. Sedation can be part of that visit after a medical review, where our permits and team allow. The final teeth come at a second visit, some months later, once the gums and bone have healed.

What to arrange before you come
- A written plan from us that you have read and agreed to.
- A responsible adult to accompany you on any sedation day and stay with you that night.
- A place to recover within a short drive of the office for the number of nights we recommend.
- Easy access to your medications, soft food and water.
- A dentist at home who can see you for follow-up, and an agreement with us on how we will stay in touch.
- Flexibility to change the return flight if healing needs a day more.
After you fly home
You leave with written instructions, the front desk’s number, and a plan for check-ins by phone or video. If something does not feel right, call the front desk the same day at 786-320-5445; we would rather hear from you early. Where we can, we set the date of the return visit before you leave, so that the laboratory and the chair are ready when you are.
